This is awesome, and 100% true. And yes, Oscar did take chances and was light years more entertaining in my opinion, even though he lost a few times. Way to go Oscar!! for telling it like it is, and taking chances in the sport!!! and good riddance to someone who held the sport back!!!!

Nothing wrong with any fan feeling that way, but it does seem pretty tacky for Oscar to have come out with. Singling out Floyds last fights as being especially boring, but how did this guy end his career? Was anyone excited watching him vs Steve Forbes, or plodding around getting the shit kicked out of him by Manny? He jides Floyd for avoiding challenges as if he himself wasn't one at the time? Big ups Cotto-Alvarez as if Floyd didn't beat both of those guys impressively? Lol. The rants of a lunatic. Not even he believes Floyd is staying put at 49 and 0. Almost seems to convey the opposite of its supposed design. What he's really doing is begging for him to comeback. Perhaps that's why he chose playboy instead of Ring. Why would the owner of such a magazine put such an op-ed out in a skin book? He knew the article would not fly in an actual boxing magazine.
You see, its insane to go on the offensive against Floyd for the reasons mentioned while trying to somehow compare Chavez's 49 and 0 fraudulent claim at the same time and btw, what part of "retiring as undefeated champion" with a 49 and 0 does Oscar not understand? Not only did his idol not retire at 49 and 0 but he never legitimately got there. He lost his 12th to a 6 and 12 Miguel Ruiz and had it reversed by his manager. Had he retired at 49 and 0 he would have had 3 title defenses and ended his career fighting Jeff Bumpus. Had he retied at 50 and 0 to beat Marciano he would have finished on the 1 and 15 Robert Lindo. Chavez would not even had made ink blot status. Oscar needs to figure out whether he loves the guy or hates him.
