Saddam was really dignified in court and made a lot of very salient observations on the kangaroo court, his ill treatment, and the insanity of invading another sovereign country. Another good one was Saddam's interview with Tony Benn and you have to say with hindsight that Saddam was not the one telling porkies in all of this. Granted, Saddam was a tyrant in his day, but he didn't have the blood of 1.5 million people on his hands and lead the world into chaos. That was all sanctions and illegal invasion.
Saddam was a killer who raped little girls. He was a cocksucker of the umph degree. I don't think he should have been hung but most certainly locked up for life, or at least yelled at real loud and told to cut the shit.
