Good finish to this one. Great find!
Tyson was around 17. Pretty raw and new but fighting men.
This era of amateur Open Class boxing was after Tyson won the J.O. (junior olympics) state, regional & national championships. It was hardly new for him and he was boxing against men in the gym when he was 15 years old. The Empire Games was a good tourney win but being the National J.O. Champ two years in a row all by RSC is pretty special and prepares you for your future in boxing. Tyson hit the pros very well seasoned as an amteur from 14 to 19 yrs old.

Correct the USA/ABF version of a tko, no one gets counted out on the floor in the amateurs. I've never seen it happen the ref waves off the bout as soon as he feels any boxer is in jepardy.

Tyson ko'ed similar to his Botha KO.
