Where they all upsets on paper? Hard to believe a few of them would've been, but I can't think of any other possible tie.

Some were I suppose but not the answer.
Re: What do these fights have in common?
Hmmm.... My first guess was going to be all for lineal titles, that isn't it either though I imagine?

Nope but another good answer.
Re: What do these fights have in common?
I spent too much time trying to guess on this one but all I could come up with is they all were refereed by a man who had at least one vowel in his name and they all were wearing gloves at the time. Did I guess right? ;D

Lol no cigar.
Re: What do these fights have in common?
I don't think that I could venture a proper guess but as far as I can see all the participants fought the best people around at the time and most of them fought their opponent in his prime. If I may say so the guys that fought the champs in your list were the cream of the crop. Guess I blew my bolt but I will keep trying to guess the answer.
Re: What do these fights have in common?
They were all excellent fights, that is what they have in common.

Brilliant answer really because it cant be wrong since its true even though its not the 100% commonality I was looking for.;D
Re: What do these fights have in common?
This answer better be impressive because there's more chance of winning the lottery than finding the correlation between those fights. I give up.
