Wow. That is so simple and true. Brilliant. I have a new perspective in life.
Its not the money you spend its the hours you spend. Wow. Simple as that.
I hear people all the time, often younger, say "I'm Broke". The real break comes from within. That's the one that one that will tear you down if you're not careful. Assets, resources and money are secondary. Stay humble.
This man is inspiring from such a natural level of being. He lives something special and in his untouchable leadership which is serving in disguise.
In Taoism it says Heaven and earth last forever. Why?they are unborn,So ever living. The sage stays behind. thus he is ahead. He is detached thus at one with all. Through selfless action,he attains fulfillment.
The highest good is like water.Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive. It flows in places men reject and so it is like Tao.(life energy).
In dwelling,be close to the land.
In Meditation go deep in the heart.
In dealing with others,be gentle and kind.
In speech,be true.
In ruling be just.
In business,be competent.
In action,watch the timing.
No fight, No blame.
Seems !ike a very genuine guy. I had to wiki him as im not that familiar with him.its funny, his words are not new, but we need to hear them in different ways at different times from different people in order to process them. I always like the biblical saying its not what you own, but what owns you. Material goods are not I inherently bad but they can certainly blind you if you lose sight. This guys biography is quite impressive, he doesn't just preach it, he lives it.
He briefly touches on the fact that people are often emotionally wanting or in need due to their past as well and how that is stifling to life and your time.
Sounds like common sense to me. What should people need or want exactly? A roof over their heads, a bit of food, and some peace and quiet is my suggestion, but people seem to crave fantasy land. What is wrong with just the essentials? If you need so much more then the propaganda has likely infected you. Markets, mansions, and expensive weddings are the hallmarks of delusion.
I found he had an annoying moustache. Therefore I didn't hear a word he said, just kept staring at that 'tache.
If Jesus had a 'tache like that, he wouldn't have got anywhere.
Funny i can explain the worlds problems in one word: Society :)
time is money dudes tho that's the fuckin problem
we can all be hippies you know what I mean
and growing a huge 'tache
You can argue that poor people tend to have the most children and the government picks up the tab and the poverty cycle continues. Socialists should think about that one more when they talk of extreme consumption. For me it works for the top and bottom, but many bleeding hearts ignore the problems caused by those at the bottom. If you cannot afford something then you don't have it. Granted everyone needs a home, but do you get a mansion because you have 10 kids and are a burden in a world where 90% of the ocean stocks are gone? You have to get real at some stage.
