Shannon Briggs should fill in for Povetkin AND fight David Haye, and then enter as a last minute republican nominee for POTUS. LETS GO CHAMP!
Maybe they could have a rematch of spar session and Wilder can be caught flush and wobbled all over again.
Exactly why Wilder will give it a miss. I genuinely thought Povetkin would do Wilder. Now Wilder has a get out of jail card and make some more easy defences, fight one of Haye, Fury (if he's around or relevant), Joshua , get beat , cash out and ride off into the sunset.Quote:

David Haye has more work to actually get back into the mix. Fighting some decent opposition rather than just paydays would be a good start. At the moment, I think Wilder wouldn't go straight into a fight with Haye.
I see David Haye was on some comedy sports show on ITV tonight, that just about sums him up. He isn't going to want to fight anyone remotely dangerous, just fight another couple of bums talk up Shannon Briggs then get 'injured' again.
Just keep himself busy enough to ensure ITV, BBC Three, soccer am, loose women and Saturday kitchen give him a call every now and again so he can whore himself out to them without taking a punch
