Whether you like David Haye or not, you have to give total respect for this act of generosity. I'm pretty speechless really, there aren't enough people like this in the sport.
It's gonna be interesting to see how many replies this thread gets, because the haters will just ignore it and continue hating .

Hate his persona and his career choices pretty much since he entered the heavyweight division......but that is commendable. He's probably an alright guy when he isn't putting on his act.

he's an exciting fighter and a character, I hope he does well in come back, and im looking forward to his next fight

I wonder how much money the Hearns tipped over. Good on Haye for doing this. Everybody else offered kind words, the Eubanks turned it into a publicity stunt but Haye actually did something useful.
Haye is a dick , however this is a nice move.

I'm a little confused, I'm the one who slags Haye off and won't hear a good word about him, the one time I wanna give him a little bit of praise the two people at work I normally chat to about the boxing have turned against him :-\:-\:-\
