Sports Illustrated puts Caitlyn on the cover
Ahh... yes. SI goes full circle.

Now......

PC pressures be damned, it's sad to see a respected publication like SI pander to those who feel this is a noteworthy cover for their magazine. I wish I could say I'd drop my subscription... but SI is pretty much it around here as far as a comprehensive sports magazine which arrives weekly and is quick and easy to read. But damn it...

Admission.
I used to say my vote was the most important thing as we'll as a privilege.
Not after reading this. My dick is the most important thing. And to think this dude chopped it off! Never again to feel the soft juicy cushioned cootchie is an insult to all the dicks of the world.
And now Sports Illustrated is glorifying self castration? Glamour magazine, People magazine...
Who wants to read a story on who got cut from the team followed by who just cut off their most prized possession?:-\

Sports "journalists" :shakehead: are some of THE most left wing nutcases in this world. Which is why I've always found it odd that they enjoy sport....these people who want equality of outcomes will hoot holler and cheer at an NCAA football team hammering the dogshit out of a lowly FCS school (and of course vice versa) but sports aren't about "equality" it's not about let's see how tied we can get or "I'm going to draw the crap out of your team" it's about besting another opponent.
ESPN in general is full to the brim with a bunch of PC left wing idiots who drool over themselves when President Obama is picking the NCAA tournament bracket.
Ummm doesn't the President have more pressing issues???
As for Caitlyn Jenner, the Sports "journalists" aren't half as unnerved by Caitlyn's transition as they are about her being a Republican and that'll tell you everything you need to know about those folks.
Re: Sports Illustrated puts Caitlyn on the cover
Perhaps I'm wrong but my understanding was Jenner didn't have the surgery it just dresses like a women. Whatever it is Obama certainly supports it.

Supports it? He wants it on the front line.....surely members of Al Qaeda and ISIS wouldn't shoot a transgendered person. It'll be the Opression Olympics out there on the battlefield :vd:
Re: Sports Illustrated puts Caitlyn on the cover
I'm more taken aback by the speckled Easter egg pants suit thing :cwm13: Who looks at that and thinks.."Yeh that will kill on the cover".

Your use of the pronoun "it" didn't go unnoticed. ;D
I for one agree. Lyle was more PC on this one, and refers to Caitlyn as "she".
Which means he's a nicer guy than us...... sometimes.

I'd rather not enable Caitlyn's (or anyone else's for that matter) body dysmorphia but it is what it is, a decision has been made and if it's making that person happy and not harming that person (Caitlyn hasn't had the surgery yet, which I would really suggest AGAINST doing, but it's up to the individual) or anyone else then go ahead.
When it comes to gendered pronouns I'll call someone what they would like to be called and if I'm uncomfortable with the pronoun portion of it I'll just call them by their name and everybody wins.
