Next week, thousands will come here to Ohio.
They are the Republican delegates.
What I've learned is that there is a SERIOUS discrepancy in their rules.
#1. There are state rules.
#2. Then there is the RNC rules.
IMO, they literally contradict each other. State rule for example claims a bound rule (about 19 states enforce it).
Problem is that 160 years for Republicans....not one state that took such issues to court ruling had state rule supersede party rule.

So who is Trump's biggest foes? Simple answer, Delegates.
Critical to know about thes delgates.
2 movements will converge.
1. NeverTrump 2. Free the delegates.
These 2 groups aren't liberals, mainstream media. They are common people.
GOP officials are fighting them. Yes, ESTABLISHMENT Republicans...are fighting to prevent them from unbinding. Fighting to keep Trump.
The RNC is so in support of Trump- under a dude named Bruce Ash--attempted to make an amendment to block candidates from the first nomination process.
In other words.... If Anti Trump delegates stopped Trump...they wouldn't be able to nominate on the floor.
It failed.
Final- To all outside the U.S.--- The magic number is 28 out of 112.
28=a vote to unbind all delegates.

Again...it isn't establishment politicians fighting Trump. An establishment politician yesterday tried to back Ash up by motion to (freeze) RNC rules. That failed as well.
Yes there are active politicians against Trump, but so are a number of Right Wing conservative writers, bloggers to talk show host and many Evangelicals But they are in the same boat as Liberals to mainstream media...that being....
Jack squat to stop Trump.
It is a fight between ....
Strictly between
...Republican delegates arguing to enforce State rules
or
an old party rule that allows dissent of a candidate binding vote.
If Trump somehow loses his nominee:
Man up, don't punk out, reassign blame.
Blame the fighting delegates elected to represent your choice.

The uproar this would cause....I would fear for the safety of those at the convention even more than I already am.
Both conventions will probably have to quell minor riots....HOPEFULLY minor riots.

....I don't see anyone pulling him out of the race especially if the reports are true and Mike Pence is his VP pick. Pence is just a stand in for Cruz whom he had originally endorsed and if that is the case then Ted Cruz will be kicking himself for allowing what could have been his shot at VP slip away.
Republican vs Republican violence....if Trump were removed as the candidate, I wouldn't doubt we'd see SOMETHING, it might not be violence but there would be disquiet

As for pulling him out-that is the only objective of the movement FreeTheDelegates and NeverTrump.
Republican Ben Sasse of Nebraska is one of the few to speak out now, because both organizations claim death threats sent to them.
Again the rules in place is what got Reagan almost elected in 1976 i am sure you remember. While he eventually conceded..he got that far by using rules that today's RNC want nullified.
It seems Trump speakers are his family and maybe 2 losing candidates??? Hahhhaaaas!
At least the OakRidge boys will be proud to show up!

I'm confident that Hillary is doing well because of her despicable opposition aka the Donald.

My point:
Not every Republican voter will call him the things you did...then decide to vote for him simply because he got the nominee.
That to me is why so many delegates are going to Cleveland to fight for a candidate other than Trump. They still feel what you felt about Trump.
Not the media, not Democrats, not establishment politicians ...rather Common people who are livid with the outcome of Trump winning the nominee.
I just want those who are outside the U.S. to know it isn't the establishment fighting mad. Its the Tea Party factions to the Libertarian Party backing the disgruntled delegates via the NeverTrump and FreeTheDelegates movement.

Outside the arena so far is cordial. Inside a shouting match followed by some delegates walking out in protest. I don't know how many.
RNC procedures to change/amend rules is based on a vote for opening day.
Reince Priebus denied a vote by roll call. Instead opting for voice vote.
Verdict: Anti Trump delegates lost.
So they erupted shouting establishment Trump.
Questioned why would a roll call vote be denied by the very person who changed rules in 2012 elections.
That being the head of RNC.

Trump is definately the RNC for prez.
Last effort to challenge ended in the cutting off the microphone.
When anti trump asked which states backed off from opposing him....is when the microphone was turned off.
Outside a lot of signs stating Trump sought 6 million from a casino mogul to compensate for. Coca Cola, pepsi, Fed Ex and Koch industries backing out of campaign donations. They failed to get their point out that Trump wasnt financing his own campaign.
