Wish him all the best . Gave alot of great fights especially against Marquez . Don't hear these types of things happening alot but makes you think of all the damages these warriors take.

Crazy. It's as vasquez said, he doesn't regret his career and would do it again. Boxing is brutal but I think she of these fighters are willing to face the consequences for the glory.
Israel Vazquez is one of my favourite fighters his fights with Jhonny Gonzales and Marquez were amazing. His heart, determination and will to win was up there with the greats.
It's not surprising at all, if you just go through a few pics of him post fights it's a wonder he still has one that works reasonably. You can get a detached retina getting hit once square on. Hell of a fighter, his wars with Marquez have to be up there with the all time rivalries.
They come no tougher than Izzy and the damage he took was so brutal and repetitive. Really makes you respect the long lasting effects and what fighters have to deal with fight to fight. Loved his final bout with Larios and the war with Gonzalez belongs in a time capsule! He landed well though and think he does regular tv commentary.
