Ok I really don't keep up with UFC, but I've been wondering if Holly Holmes is a lot like Buster Douglas in that she had her one moment when she beat an unbeaten (at the time) opponent, but aside from that one-time event, is not really a top-notch fighter. Not saying she's a terrible fighter, just not an elite.
She just lost another fight and that got me to wondering. No one really knew who she was before she beat Rhonda Rousey, just like no one really knew who Buster was before he beat Tyson.
Wow 2 losses back to back.
Was it a blow to MMA?
What were the credentials of these two women?
.Holly winning 10 straight means something.
As Buster never really had a win streak.
And of course MMA... Can't cherry pick.
So Holly may have Rhondas number...OR she showed the blueprint: box or strike the short chick...she may lose everytime.
Well I'll give her the whole staying in shape, fighting the best and being professional thing though. Bigger question for me is who is Rousey upon return???
Only thing Rousey returns to is the buffet.
