2017 June in Canastota boxing hall of fame!
Start saving a few $$ here and there.. .it'll be a blast.
I know the best hotels for cheap, best events to attend and we can drink and talk shit face to face.
Overseas It's. Expensive. ..but for American Id say $500 max. ..unless your taking a plane.
Camaraderie of boxing fans is unparalleled.

Get there early at Rocky Graziano and it's on. I drank beer with Leon Spinks, Michael Carbajal Arron Pryor, talked motown music with Bert Sugar and Ken Norton, took pictures with Pernell Whitaker, Chad Dawson. They play golf Saturday morning. ...
There is a bbq on Saturday afternoon .I ate with Marlon Starling Buster Douglas..
Assisted Lou Duva to his hotel, chauffeur for then undefeated Chazz Witherspoon and his pop Erik.( I was a bit of a midwest political talk show sensation..not sure if I got that same clout.)
Took photos with some fine ass Ring card girls.
Attended Saturday banquet $100..listened to Sylvester Stalone Mike Tyson speak.
Marvin Haglar Micky Ward usually there every year.
Every boxing magazine for sell...vintage. There was even a WBC belt for sale.
Sunday there is a 3 mile run..Micky Ward did it both times I was there.
Then Sunday fair grounds is the induction, parade.
We say our peace....and prepare for 2018!!!!
If Barrera and Holyfield get inducted I WILL be there and can put it together for anyone interested.

That is a fab four right there and all deserving. I'd like to see Wilfredo Vasquez or Gilberto Roman get a nod. I haven't been to the Hall but would make it a priority with you mugs before I go to my High school reunion or work Christmas party ;D

Agree with that, first 3 for sure(though in most any other sport Holyfield would have a lot more to answer for regarding his prolific PED use, imo) Casamayor is borderline, none of the other guys. What is the criteria regarding how long guys have to be retired before they make it in? Reading Montel Griffin and Sam Peter made me think James Toney?
