Dibella says that Felix Diaz is willing to fight Crawford in December. This is probably the best fight that Crawford could get made at this short of notice. Diaz is a solid fighter. Obviously there are better fighters but he isn't going to get one of the big named fighters in December in all honesty. So here's hoping that this fight works out.
Diaz is good, he won't beat Crawford but it's a legit opponent for sure. Assuming this is being talked about at 140? Would be nice to see Crawford move up to WW since he beat Postol and there isn't much at 140.
I'm wondering too what weight it will be at. Boxrec has Diaz ranked at WW. I think it would be a good time/fight to move up with. All of the big fights are at WW and this is the time to step up and beat the bigger named fighters.
John Molina jr takes the golden ticket. I like Molina as a fighter but he is going to be sliced and diced badly.
Crawford is long overdue to kick in the welterweight door. Not sure what they are waiting on.
Saw that today too. Molina is a tough, solid fighter, but a terrible style matchup for him.
