The masses have spoken with their Silence!
So, in the UK, it's 7.30pm on a Sunday and one of the UK's "World Champions" defended his title last night and NOT ONE PERSON has posted a comment on the fight, let alone a thread or dare I say a "Sticky"
I think that tells us all we need to know about:
a.) BJS's popularity
b.) Box nation and how much they have to do to catch up with Sky/Matchroom.
Apparently it was a load of shite (surprise,surprise!) and now Saunders is saying he needs not 1, but 2 mandatories before he steps in with GGG or Canelo.
Meanwhile , Warren has been goading the other knobhead Eubank Jr. Into a fight. These people earn money for ZERO achievement.

Billy Joe Saunders' career is going nowhere at this rate.
He's not interested in fighting Golovkin & with good reason I suppose, but you have to wonder why he's in the sport if he doesn't want to fight the best opponents?
Why doesn't he take up landscape gardening or dominoes?
He might prove to be excellent at one or both of them & he won't risk getting his face broken by Gennady Golovkin.

I haven't commented on the BJS fight purely because I was moving home over the weekend so I've not got sky or wifi for the next few days.
I heard it was terrible though, quite glad I missed it, especially after watching the Villa's shite performance on Saturday and stinker of a fight would have completely fucked up the weekend

BJS had to rededicate himself several fights back by moving gym to outside the UK did he not?
Sounds like he's gone back to that lifestyle he had and he's happier with that.
If not, perhaps he could do title defences against EU opponents in future in order to simply make money and retire.

Can't for the life of me understand how a professional fighter would let themselves get that fat in between fights. That takes a lot of effort in itself, of course it's going to affect their entire camp and performance, if not career. I thought BJS was pretty good a year or two ago, he surprised me against Eubank JR and Lee, but he's not the kind of talent that can get away with that shit.
