Billy Joe Saunders Links Up With Adam Booth After Tibbs Split

Good move and a wise move by Saunders who look terrible and out of shape last time out and, he was lucky to get the win.
Not sure exactly what happened with Tibbs but a heard a few stories that he got pissed off with Saunders not training properly and letting himself go too much and fucked it off.
Booth is a decent trainer and you never see a flabby/fleshy Booth fighter so will whip him into decent shape but i'm a little bit surprised he didn't go over to Shane McGuigan and the buzzing gym he's built up.
I like Saunders so wish him well and when he's on it, in shape and using his jab well he's something special.

Booth walked away from Eubank Jr AND Eubank Sr. because they're a pair of fucking pricks! it doesn't affect his "Stock" one iota! infact, you could say it increases because he proved he ain't taking no shit.
Booth just didn't want to be part of that fucking circus and wouldn't accept Sr. standing in the middle of the ring between rounds posing like a catwalk model or Jr. putting videos on Instagram of him knocking spark out a 1 fight novice in sparring .
When they got together I predicted that would happen, and they didn't disappoint.
as for Saunders going to Booth, well It doesn't matter who trains you if you're not dedicated or respectful to your trainer. We shall see.
I'm not disagreeing on whether Shane is the better trainer or not, but sometimes the fighter has to just hold his hands up and take the blame.

I think Shane has the better fighters at the moment doesn't he.
Booth could work well for Billy Joe, he seems to get the most out of his fighters, I think he is a good motivator.

I'd like to see BJS come good again, he's been too idle for too long now, heres hoping that he has a good 2017

I agree you can't blame Booth for fucking Eubank Jnr off, it was no secret Eubank Snr was a problem and Booth walked away, doing that has in no way affected his Stock.!

Booth split with Groves and Haye over manager bollocks (wonga). Everyone knew him and old Eubank wouldn't last two minutes. Never seen him slated as a trainer, he's clearly well respected, BJS is an excellent addition to a growing quality stable, and might suit him more than the Tibbs.

Saunders is living in a Caravan outside Booths Gym :cool:

Booth is a thinker, likes to plan. Might be a great fit for Saunders who starts fights well but struggles to negotiate the later parts. He almost found a way to fuck up the Eubank fight, almost found a way to fuck up the Lee fight after standing Lee on his head early doors. If he's going to even think about beating better fighters he needs a plan. Physically he's on the brink.

So who the fuck is he fighting next? All the "star" names already have fights planned. Everyone will be pleased means him and Frank, everyone else will think it's pony.

Is it wise BJS diving into a Golovkin fight on the back of such a shit performance last time out?
Thing is it might be the only window he gets in the next year or so to fight GGG.
I'd rather see him in another fight before hand so him and Booth can get just one under their belts together and build confidence, basically i'd like to see BJS in the trenches at times and Booth using his calm words and see if they click.
Golovkin will be his hardest ever fight and a new trainer (Booth) is gonna be alien to him in the first fight especially when things aren't going his own way :-\
I do think they will work well together though.

Golovkin is fighting Jacobs in March so Saunders is talking bollocks or he doesn't mean Golovkin.

It wouldn't really matter who's in his corner against Golovkin - Booth, Tibbs, Arcel or Miyagi.

all a load of horseshit. forget about windows of when he can fight GGG. He doesn't want to fight GGG, unless he gets paid unreasonable money. It's understandable because when he loses , the only fight out there for him is a panto match up with the other clown Eubank Jr.
