Bleed For This - Vinny Paziena Movie

BLEED FOR THIS is the incredible true story of one of the most inspiring and unlikely comebacks in sports history. Miles Teller stars as Vinny "The Pazmanian Devil" Pazienza, a local Providence boxer who shot to stardom after winning 2 world title fights. After a near-fatal car accident leaves Vinny with a severed spine, doctors tell him he may never walk again. With the help of renowned trainer Kevin Rooney, Vinny becomes a legend when he not only walks again, but miraculously returns to the ring to reclaim his title belt only a year after the accident.

I watched it last night. It wasn't too bad. They skipped over a few things to make for better effect I guess. Like him stepping up 2 weight classes straight into the title fight. Or making it seem like his first fight back after the accident was Duran. I did enjoy the movie overall.

Nice one for that site @smashup - flicking through the films, they look in great nick (the Sky internet cunts will probably have it blocked by next week)

@Alpha i didn't know that about the Duran fight and thought it was insane going from a near snapped spinal column to fighting someone like Duran in your first comeback fight ! ;) @Fenster yes mate it's a great free movie site and the filter is good so it'll only show 1080/720 HD stuff, loads of good tv shows and documentaries too (Grand Tour - all episodes in HD etc.)

@smashup I think he had about 5 or 6 fights before facing Duran. Not sure if you remember Ray Oliveira or not but he was the guy who eventually agreed to spar with Pazienza when no one else would.

Yeah i remember Ray Oliveira, pretty good movie, watched it with the Missus last night and she liked it and this is a girl who thought Bruce Springsteen was in Die Hard and Gerard Butler played football for Liverpool ;D
