Any Sky or BT home broadband users pay attention.

Basically BT have just announced their 3rd price hike in 18 months and now Sky have just announced they are also upping the monthly cost (both by around £3.50)
By law they have to offer a "Free" get out clause to all customers so the ball is fully in your court legally and you can blag the fuck out of them ;D
I did it this morning..... called BT and said im not happy and will be leaving asap unless they either reduce my monthly fee or sort me out some other way.
I settled for 6 months of free BT Sports in HD and Amazon and I-Tunes vouchers, all in all worth about £140 to me as i usually pay for BT Sports anyway :cool:
Now is the time to call them and just do as i did and when they make you the first offer just say No and you've seen better and cheaper home broadband offers and are leaving them.
Trust me they'll buckle and make you another offer.
I did this with my girlfriends Sky Broadband 2-3 years ago and got about £9/£10 a month for a whole year.
Don't let these multi Billion pound corporate wankers cunt you off and have fun doing it.

I think they all work together to increase prices and they have a monopoly.

It forceseems people to look for cheaper alternatives which may not be legal.

The excessive ppv boxing with silly mismatches make the situation worse.

They nearly all rent their lines from BT who have the monopoly on 95% of the phone lines in the UK, a lot (not all) of the cheaper broadband providers are just BT under another name anyway and target the people with less money.
Sky, Virgin, Talk Talk etc all rent lines (Copper) from BT but can offer a better internet speed as they can afford to pay BT more money.
Virgin are the only other provider who have installed their own Fibre Optic network and now offer up to 200mb speeds.
They take the absolute piss with the internet speeds we get in our homes compared to the rest of the modern world, i was using 300mb plus speeds in work in London well over 10 years ago but i did work in a Data Centre ;D

Ok so i just called BT again completely blagged them some more and got a further £10 reduction per month on my Broadband/line rental.
My BT Sport in HD wasn't activated when they said it would be so i got the asshole and threatened them again, it was activated in minutes (while i was further pulling their pants down) ;D
Then went for the kill and demanded half price BT Sports in HD from August when my Freebie runs out ;D;D

The piss was well and truly taken and i'm happy with the service anyway but have just increased my savings over the next 2 years to just over £400 when you add it all up.
It's in writing that it's fixed too so :cool:
Anyone can do this and you have about 20-22 days left to mug them off!
