Do u guys gamble on boxing
I never have but a girl here at work is a big gambler. I'm going to place money on triple g this
Sept as I can't see him losing. Nothing big, maybe 50.00 bucks or do. I'm already losing on the fight as I'm taking the night off and buying pay per view. I figure it will make the fight a little more interesting. As I've said before is quite depressing as I work 12 hours 7p to 7:30a every weekend and miss all the best fights.
Re: Do u guys gamble on boxing
gotta watch them night ~shifts~. Some awful perverts lurking there to give you a "hard" time like 3:30 a.m. or so
Re: Do u guys gamble on boxing
I have a boss who's convinced I'm some gambler on fight weekends because we're constantly printing up schedules and records ;D. As far as he knows Mayweather is coming back at heavyweight and a "massive betting favorite" to beat Wilder. Hey it's my retirement option. I vaguely remember winning 20 bucks and a half empty case of beer on Holyfield v Douglas.
Re: Do u guys gamble on boxing
So Walrus is compensating his lack of boxing by gambling. That is clever and a road going nowhere.
Re: Do u guys gamble on boxing
Probably a pretty good bet, but on the whole I don't gamble. I'm of the view that gambling should be cracked down on as it creates poverty and the only people who profit are the companies who give it back to their Tory shareowners. See when they gamble they are guaranteed a pay out, but ordinary folk are somewhat preyed upon. Sure it's a choice, but it's like asking a junkie to choose between opium and a hamburger.

That is a road going nowhere you were right but he is also on an Avenue going nowhere and also any Boulevard going nowhere and he's also going down a dead-end in an alley for f*** sake the guy doesn't know when to stop

I agree with you miles it's just something I'm going to try this fight but I am not into things where the house mostly wins

I'm starting to feel sorry for you. Your 12 hour weekend shifts at my house started out as something you were just going to try, but you never had a chance. I suppose it's become less of a gamble now that you already have every STD known to man.
Re: Do u guys gamble on boxing
I'll often pick the winner and method of victory across 3 or 4 fights off the same card, I only put a few quid on so that is the only way to make it worthwhile, the odds on 'who wins' are normally pretty terrible so the reward isn't as good.
betting like that I can normally get 10/1 or a little better
Re: Do u guys gamble on boxing
I heard that P4Pking walked into a butcher's shop yesterday and saw Beanz arguing with the guy in there.
Apparently, the butcher had bet him that he couldn't reach the beef that was on the top shelf behind the freezer.
Beanz wouldn't take him up on the bet though, as the steaks were too high.
Re: Do u guys gamble on boxing
I've bet on a few fights but the odds are nothing special. I find it's better to place multis on other sports as the returns can be better. If you have a lot of spare time you can make small money that builds up playing the multis.
