Fighters who avenged a knockout loss ?
I commented on a Joshua Klitschko thread the other day re a rematch and the old saying - knock a guy out and you'll knock him out even quicker win the rematch.
Got me thinking how many fighters have actually avenged a knockout loss. So without cheating I'm going to say I can only recall the following ones , both Lewis. And the second one wasn't even a knockout.
Lewis v Rahman
Lewis v McCall
Any more ? No googling.......

The obvious one for me is Louis/ Schmeling.
Patterson/ Johansson.
Cotto/ Margarito.

Nigel Benn v Eubank
Hearns v Leonard
Both should have got the decisions.
Terry Norris v Simon Brown

Gonzalez v Carbajal did it nicely not once but twice. Galindez v Rossman. Kendall Holt v Ricardo Torres. Zale v Graziano. Andres v Harding. Juan Nazario v Edwin Rosario. Cintron came close to doing it in a single fight ;D vs Martinez.

The one that first comes to mind for me is Lewis v Rahman and what a KO by Lennox
Re: Fighters who avenged a knockout loss ?
steiglitz stopped abraham in one of their million fights, abraham then won the next two or 3 rematches they had... wasn't a proper ko though.

Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito....that was a lovely bit of revenge!
