Wilder-Whyte - $3 million not enough. $7m? Pussy, Cockroaches, James Hunts?
Just been catching up on the weeks boxing shenanigans, seen this fight is serious.
Wilder has turned down a career high payday to defend against Whyte. Now I like Wilder, whatever he lacks in boxing ability he makes up for being athletically gifted with exciting to watch sparko power and a vicious attitude, however, it says it all when a champion demands over twice his best ever payday to face Dillian Whyte. If it was Joshua or Klitschko fair enough, he's the underdog, they're mega-earners, he obviously deserves a slice of the huge cake.
But Dillian Whyte? Arguably his best ever opponent (not by much though) but surely if Whyte is the "useless cockroach getting sent to hospital" as Wilder says why is he demanding so much wonga?
Re: Wilder-Whyte - $3 million not enough. $7m? Pussy, Cockroaches, James Hunts?
One reason and one reason only that Wilder has deliberately priced himself out of this fight and that is because he knows Whyte is capable of knocking him out.
Wilder is clearly living in a World where he thinks that US Heavyweights still carry some weight/bargaining power in the division.... those days died years ago and the big money is here in England.
Wilder has bottled it
Re: Wilder-Whyte - $3 million not enough. $7m? Pussy, Cockroaches, James Hunts?
because "boxing is a business..." - The Fighter formerly known as Floyd Mayweather
Cops probably impounded his hoopty during the weed arrest... and he needs a new one... or Maybe hes still High..
Re: Wilder-Whyte - $3 million not enough. $7m? Pussy, Cockroaches, James Hunts?
So Parker doesn't have an opponent, Wilder doesn't have an opponent, Joshua doesn't have an opponent. Wilder is calling them out but we're talking about Whyte.
Meanwhile Loma doesn't have an opponent, Rigo doesn't have an opponent, Rigo calls him out saying he is not only willing to move up a full division, he is willing to move up more than a full division to make the fight. I mention this and not one person responds.
Do boxing fans have something against champions fighting each other?

It is one thing saying it, it is another to sign the contract.

Maybe Wilder does not fancy a blood and guts fight like AJ and Wlad had,! because Whyte would give him one he is a tough guy is Whyte if Wilder fancied it he would have taken the fight 3 million is not loose change is it.!!!!!!!!;)

What contract? They have not said they are willing to negotiate. Why didn't AJ respond with "if Klitschko doesn't exercise his rematch clause(because Klitschko is considering retirement) then let's do it"? Why aren't they working out the details now while Klit ponders his future?
So easy for fans to say sign the contract but if there is no contract you're only providing outs, outs in fantasy land.
I hate Wilder and want to see him exposed. People just give him the ability to continue being a fraud if they give the guys with the ability to expose him endless outs. If it's Wilder that is unwilling to fight then expose that. You expose that by calling his bluff, you do that by negotiations.

AJ must fight Pulev if Wlad does not want the fight.

Wilder is on borrowed time it seems. Becoming a case of the trinket making the fighter and not the other way around. He doesn't really thing King will shell out more for a ordered Stiverne rematch that few really have any interest in watching.

Easy enough excuse but not true to the IBFs words or recent actions. In fact the IBF doesn't recognize the rematch with Klitschko.
But the IBF has said that "unifications take precedence" and even backed off their own stance against the Crawford/Indongo fight because "unifications take precedence".
There really is no way to know if the IBF would follow their own words in this instance until Joshua proposes it to them. As long as he doesn't discuss a unification of course they will only consider the far less significant fight against their appointed mandatory.
Re: Wilder-Whyte - $3 million not enough. $7m? Pussy, Cockroaches, James Hunts?
Wilder is still pissed off that he missed out on twenty million or whatever it was for the Povetkin fight. He knows he could have his bubble burst by any of the guys he's going to get matched with now he's got a belt and his hands are a problem so he wants a gigantic payday.

Seems Wilder is getting G more desperate but he should beat White comfortably.
