If Crawford called out Floyd?
We know that the GGG fans had sleepless nights at the prospect of him stepping up and fighting Ward..and we all know those same fans would be terrified of Lomachenko stepping up in a catchweight fight against Crawford...
So..
Let's say after the 26th of August and a quick KO of Conor McGregor would Floyd be even remotely interested if Crawford called him out for a 147 showdown?
I know the answer is No due to the money and the fact he is certain it's his last fight...but if it DID happen..how do you see it going down..?
Re: If Crawford called out Floyd?
Crawford win, Floyd's old.
Re: If Crawford called out Floyd?
Crawford is the present and should focus on like minded challengers who want to fight real boxers.

Crawford would have the biggest payday of his life.
Name one boxer that would not fight Conor McGregor for all these millions on the table in this crossover payperview scam event.
If Floyd schooled Crawford to make 51-0 then that would be way more satisfying for his career than seeing him beat Canelo again.
It's not going to happen but it's interesting.
Re: If Crawford called out Floyd?
I don't thinks it's Conor bringing in the millions and mass buzz, he's calling him out and going to him. Crawford while peaking and the one with the future hasn't the media draw of Mayweather. Don't get me wrong wouldn't mind Mayweather getting serious about the sport again and Crawford definitely would step up but lot's of ifs. Two main things pull Mayweathers strings and that's money and the label of p4p status. I think last is the only reason he targeted Marquez in 'comeback'. Should Crawford take top scalps at 147 which I think he does save for maybe Spence in a great 'what if' and ride #1 p4p, who knows with Floyd. Just don't see him being serious again.
Re: If Crawford called out Floyd?
Floyd is not interested in real challenges. Fcuk Floyd and hope he stays retired and out of boxing forever.
Re: If Crawford called out Floyd?
No way it would happen. Floyd would almost for sure lose. He is old and much slower than he used to be. I think even a Floyd of 10 years ago has trouble with Crawford. So the what if is that Crawford wins handily.
If Floyd did someone manage to pull off the win, I would put him top 5 ever because it would be an amazing win at his age against an elite fighter.

Are you saying Floyd never took a challenge?
Your hate for Floyd is at its peak.

I never said never but if he was interested in a serious challenge he would not have taken Conor. That is a serious insult and two fingers up to boxing.
Sooner he retires and out of boxing the better. He has hurt boxing with his "A side" crap and fighting good challengers with certain stipulations whilst all the time taking intravenous blood into his system to recover. Illegal and hypocritical woman beater should disintegrate into nothing.
Other than that, I wish him well. :)

Terence Crawford has vacated the IBF junior welterweight world title he won by knocking out Julius Indongo less than a fortnight ago.
Crawford matched a feat only Bernard Hopkins achieved by holding all four straps in a division when he stopped Indongo in the third round at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Nebraska.
After unifying the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO titles, the American has relinquished the IBF belt.
Crawford was facing a mandatory defence of the IBF title against Sergey Lipinets, with purse bids for that fight due on Thursday.
The 29-year-old opted to hand over the belt but kept hold of the other three straps as he considers his options.
Crawford announced after defeating Indongo that he plans to step up to 147lb in a bid to "conquer the welterweight division".
