Valdez vs Frampton
Supposedly it's being talked about happening. Good fight. The featherweight division has tons of good fights that need to be made.
I would go with Frampton on this one. He has shown to be a more effective brawler. Valdez has good power and backs up hid opponents but I just think Frampton outboxes him/out hustled him. Valdez is a live dog though.

Re: Valdez vs Frampton
Don't hold your breath. Bob said he'd like to put it on a date he has for Tuscan, Frampton has just signed with a new promoter (Warren), no chance he's swanning off to Texas in his first fight if ever again (that is the LAST thing Warren does with his fighters - a 100% homer)
However, it's a terrific matchup.
Stylewise it's favourable for Frampton, he is more adaptable with more bells and whistles too but Valdez is still on the rise whilst Frampton is just starting on his way down, can't see many more tough fights in him

Re: Valdez vs Frampton
That would be a good fight. I really like Vale, he's all action but he still needs to work on many facets of his game. Frampton is the more polished fighter. If it happened next I'd take Frampton, in a year or 2 ago knows.

Re: Valdez vs Frampton
Seems rare you get a top notch trilogy but I was looking forward to Frampton-Santa Cruz again. Instead they apparently are on build to a Mares rematch. Valdez has all the tools but like to see him polish them, he's on a good run with gradual step ups and well received exposure. Tremendous short jab that changes things in an instant but he got away from it last out. If Frampton comes Stateside maybe Valdez team will jump on it but I think hand speed and pop of Frampton will have Valdez in yet another hard knock scrap and needing the fight of his young career.

I wouldn't mind seeing Valez/ Diaz. I think they fought in the ams.
