Really? Not a bad fight but would have much rather Garcia fought Linares
Is it settled yet? All I read is it's being talked about.
I hope it's done at 140lb. Otherwise, 135 would be a huge advantage for García.
Either weight is a huge advantage for Garcia. He is completely in another class. I thought that Figueroa would be better than he ended up being. He is good but by no means great. Whether at 135 or 140, it won’t last the distance.Quote:

Doubt Figueroa can make 140. Mikey picks him apart. I like Omar, he's all action but Mikey is on another level.
Being talked about for Jan27th same night as Linares and Matthysee sharing a card on HBO. Figueroa will kill himself trying to make 135 me thinks, way to wide and step behind Garcia all night. Actually would like to see Garcia v Easter instead.
Good for figs for taking the fight. I'd actually like to see him win but don't see a lot of hope. Figs had the option of going pro baseball but opted for boxing, very good athlete
