The lottery grants system stinks do you know sometimes over half the of the money is taken by consultancy companies which the lottery say you have to use !!!!!!!!! your grant will be taken by theses assholes meetings galaw amazing really disgusting.:mad:
I am a trustee of a scheme that received 5 year funding from the lottery. They are over subscribed with applications because of the cuts by the Tories. They are fair and quite efficient in my experience.
Master I am on about consulting companies what the lottery use I cant say were mate I have seen this but they were very inefficient and combined with other people involved money was wasted,! too many people with there hands in the pot.:vd:Quote:

The lottery are funding more and more projects that were funded by local authorities. The voluntary sector are the lowest in the food chain. When the government makes cuts the council's cut the 3rd sector first with their grants.

Councils are full of desk warmers with degrees in sociology. They are impossible to get rid of and basically provide no services for honest folk who pay exorbitant council taxes. Council tax is a joke really and people would not be happy if they knew exactly how the money was being wasted.
