If we talk about a prime Jermaine Taylor, the same one who gave Bhop hell. How does he do against GGG? He was a big boy with lots of power, a great jab and his defense wasn't bad.
Personally dont think he was the same Taylor by the time Pavlik rolled around.

Taylor turned out to be chinny so could see GGG knock and keep him down.
Taylor another whos prime seemed like a flash, maybe all of a couple of fights. Still convinced Hopkins let the ko get away late in first fight. a 154 Spinks gave him hell as did Wright. Think his feet too flat and too willing to mix, Golovkin tko. He's ended up bad and crazy thing is he's still talking about fighting again.
I think GGG would stop Taylor mid rounds.
Taylor was a pretty good fighter. He kind of came out of nowhere and made a big splash then just got washed up as fast as he came. I do think he beat bhop the first fight. I think he for sure lost the second one and thought he lost to Winky. I can’t remember what my score was for the Spinks fight but I know that Spinks made the fight really tough for him. He then basically got knocked out by everybody good he fought.
His claim to fame was beating bhop but that was really the only good thing he did. GGG KOs him easily.
Yeah I can see that, if he had trouble with Winky no way he is getting past GGG. HE was just so damn strong, the kid was a bull, I miss watching him fight, wish he would've stayed focused.
Taylor was obsessed in trying to beat BHop but nearly blew that. I liked Taylor and thought he beat Winky, Spinks (who was too negative) but just as Pavlik beat him with a lot then triple G could do the same.
