Will the new 5 year BT Sports/Warren deal (PPV) be successful..?
So Warren has bagged a new 5 year extension with BT Sports and held a showcase press conference earlier today from the BT Tower in London.
The BT Sports big cheese said he was happy with the way things have gone in the past year and that everyones excited about the future.
This is actually BT Sports longest term contract with anyone so it's good news for fight fans and should force all other UK promoters to up their game and deliver better cards.
Warren claims that they will launch the PPV platform around September which got me thinking.......
Frampton is due out next in August/Sept in his dream fight at Windsor Park Stadium so if the timing right i could possibly see people shelling out for that on PPV as Frampton has a massive fanbase.
September would be Tyson Furys 2nd comeback fight and i doubt Warren will stick him in with a real live/PPV worthy opponent and risk everything
Saunders could fight again in September but with GGG v Clamelo already agreed who's he gonna fight that's PPV worthy, maybe jump up and go for Degale or Groves?
Interesting to hear everyones opinions on how BT Sport are gonna go about this, i'd say the Frampton stadium fight with maybe Fury on the undercard would warrant a PPV night?

Wankers with their PPV bollocks.
Hope it fails.
Re: Will the new 5 year BT Sports/Warren deal (PPV) be successful..?
All he ever does is stage press conferences waffling about deals. The last "big BT presser" announced 20-30 shows per year and all that bollocks, it's May, he's done one show!!!
He should stick some of his fighters in decent matches instead constantly digging up obscure nobodies. There's never any momentum with his mob.
Saunders-Murray... Zzzzzzz. Terrific fighters and all but for fucks sake, we know the ending, we've seen it a million times.
Fury-vs-road sweeper... Zzzzzzz. He demands an easy comeback, OK, but then he'll vanish from the ring until when? Christmas? Next Year? Until the next "Big BT Deal" is announced.
Yarde and Dubois-vs-road sweepers. And why did Yarde turndown the Bivol fight? Well, I know why.
Re: Will the new 5 year BT Sports/Warren deal (PPV) be successful..?
if Furys opponent is really a Cruiserweight. It shows how far Furys confidence has fallen.
Get a heavyweight opponent in the ring who has a pulse, isnt a tomato can and is durable enough to give Fury 12 rounds of ringtime.
Simple!

Hard to say. Looking forward to finding out.
