Bare knuckle boxing
Bare-knuckle boxing now looks set to shed its underground image and become more mainstream as the sports moves from pubs and car parks to bigger, more established venues.
Last night at the Bowlers Exhibition centre in Stretford, Manchester, the main event saw two-time World Bare-Knuckle Boxing Champion Luke Atkin, 30, from York, take on Dom Clark, 35, from Bournemouth during the Rogue Elite world title bout.
It was a bout Clark won in a ferocious match up.

I guess it is the home of the sport but there is mma and UFC so no need for it.

Re: Bare knuckle boxing
UFC and MMA are shit, two men rolling around the floor for ages is what puts people off, it's watchable until they hit the floor then becomes boring.
Bare Knuckle is Boxing as it should be and in its purest form so there's really no need for the likes of UFC/MMA.
Bare Knuckle boxing is proven to be safer than gloved boxing and statistically there are less cases of brain damage and death.
The fact that you can legally kick or knee someone in the head in one sport but can't punch someone's head in the other doesn't make sense.
I've seen quite a few bare knuckle fights that haven't exactly been in a ring and they're brutal like you can't imagine.
