We've had the arguments of American football vs. rugby....... baseball vs. cricket........ basketball vs. well..... whatever.
But here's a sport we can all get behind.

The athleticism of these women...... the skills being displayed...... the excitement of the action. How can you not like this sport and this league?
It's the LFL, Legends Football League. I for one would love to have a franchise right here in Puerto Rico. I'd go to all the games.
I have no idea what they are playing and I do not care. It's a fantastic sport.
Sad if first thing that comes to mind is what amazing bladder control ???. Seriously, they are still getting hit from blind spots...in thongs! Athletes that should be saluted right here.
Why the cumbersome shoulder pads?
That was the first thought that came into MY mind when I first saw them play.

Actually I've seen clips of some of the fights that break out in those games, and some NHL and NFL players could probably use a few tips.
That being said, I wondered where so many hard-body, yummy-looking women came from..... who also played some mean football and could deliver crunching hits.
Then my brother-in-law told me many of them had migrated over from old roller derby teams. Makes sense. ;D
