Middleweight world titleholder Billy Joe Saunders has failed a Voluntary Anti-Doping Association drug test for the banned substance oxilofrine, a stimulant, multiple sources with knowledge of the test results told ESPN on Thursday.
Saunders has been preparing for an Oct. 20 defense against Demetrius Andrade in Boston, but that is likely to be cancelled and Saunders is likely to be stripped of his 160-pound world title.
BJS was fined £100,000 to his latest video antics and just when it could not get any worse this happens. Stripped and loses title, defence and money.

What is oxilofrine?
Oxilofrine is a stimulant of the amphetamine class that was developed to treat hypotension (low blood pressure) in people who do not respond to conventional treatment. Oxilofrine is the prescription name for methylsynephrine, hydroxyephrine and oxyephrine. It is not widely used in the UK and is not a licensed drug in the US. Some firms use oxilofrine, in the form of synephrine, in so-called sports nutritional supplements as it is thought to allow people to burn fat faster and lose weight. Synephrine is a natural component of Citrus aurantium, otherwise known as bitter orange, but it can also be synthesised or extracted from plant sources.
What are its effects?
Oxilofrine is thought to increase adrenaline production, boosting endurance, focus, alertness and heart rate and increasing oxygenation of the blood

This guy is a brilliant boxer and has now ruined himself with this disgusting drug..both him and Fury should be banned from boxing completely.
I have no times for cheats...Floyd might have suggested Pac was juicing but he passed all the tests..No matter how much I like a fighter, PEDS are the worst thing you can do in a sport like this..

Seems to be done confusion about the drug, apparently in the UK it is only illegal to use it in competition, meaning on fight day. We'll see how this plays out.
So Robert Smith has come out and said that Saunders has done no wrong ‘according to UKAD and the BBBoC rules’. This fight is nothing to do with either is it?
When it rains it pours. Is Saunders purposely trying to pull the plug on his career? Doing a pretty damn good job, I'd say.
