Why is kovalev a racist piece of shit

I didn’t want to put this in the boxing thread as sometimes these get out of hand and people who question it are called racist. I remember the shirt he wore caused a lot of controversy. I think labeling someone a racist piece of shit for that is a bit overboard so I would think more things happened that I’m not aware of. I don’t want to go into my life issues but my job requires me to catch up on fights during the week so tbh I just focus on the fights and not the trash talk and all that, I must be missing something

Floyd Mayweather and Adrien Broner have made racist comments about Filipinos.

Max Kellerman has always openly disparaged and discredited all good white boxers (Klitschkos, Calzaghe, Hatton, Kovalev, Gvozdyk, Adamek, etc).

Are they racist pieces of shit?


When Kovalev made that tweet, I was on twitter. I follow him, so I saw it right away. I replied, "it's extremely offensive to chimpanzees to compare one to a piece of shit like Adonis".

Not directly. Something like "Hello Adonis" with a photo of him pointing to a child wearing a t-shirt with a chimpanzee picture on it.

The only thing I know of is when he had his photo took of a kid wearing a t-shirt with a monkey wearing boxing gloves on it, In the picture I think he pointed at the t-shirt and captioned it with something like "I see the training is going well" and sent it to Adonis via Twitter...or something like that.

If that is all there is then it's hardly crime of the century.

I'd be interested to know what else he has done to get such a strong racist tag.

I see a couple people refer to him as racist piece of shit but nothing else occurred other than his kids tee shirt. I figure I’m missing something he said in an interview or pre fight hype
