Amir Khan loses test of hand speed as he appears on Family Feud against Andre Berto

Amir Khan failed to show off his famously fast hand speed as he featured on Family Feud.

The US TV phenomenon – which spawned the UK’s Family Fortunes – put on a boxing themed celebrity edition this week.

Britain’s welterweight star Khan appeared on one team including Andre Ward, Claressa Shields and James Toney.

Meanwhile his ex-opponent Danny Garcia led the other side alongside Antonio Tarver, Andre Berto, Mikaela Mayer and Josesito Lopez.

When it came to his round, Khan was paired up with Berto and asked, “What’s the first thing a man reaches for when a woman dumps him?”

Despite being known for having the quickest hands in boxing, he was beaten to the buzzer and could not think of an answer to top his opponent.

In the end, Khan’s team went on to win with Ward and Shields conquering the Fast Money round to take home a sizeable sum for charity.

Even if his hands were close to the quickest in boxing, it clearly states he also had to think of an answer, on that he would lose to a lawn ornament.
