During the day, do you have to do your workouts all at once?
Is it alright to go a few rounds of shadowboxing in the morning, then, go another few late in the evening? (Same with punching heavybag/speedbag)? ???
Is it also alright to do this with pushups, sittups, pressups, etc., or should you do them all at once?
Re: During the day, do you have to do your workouts all at once?
Why not? do you need to spread them out? It'd be much more efficient if you can do what you need to in one go. That way you can focus on putting the energy back into your body and resting and recovering...
you do press ups in the morning and then sit ups and shadow or what ever in 2-3 hours time and the energy you should be using to recover from what ever damage you caused is being used to do that short lite bit of training your doing then.
No point in spreading it out through the day if its making your training less stressful on your body and eating away at your recovery time and nutrition.
I sometimes do a run on the same day I'm in the gym, but thats a long hard focused session early in teh day followed by a meal and rest, then another meal for training and another meal for recovery after I've been at the gym.
I could do a few rounds of shadow, a hard push up and sit up circuit and a decent run in 1-2 hours, spreading it through out the day is pointless
Re: During the day, do you have to do your workouts all at once?
yeh i wouldnt reccommend doin it throughout the day. you will prob tire yourself out too much in the first workout.
its not good to keep warming up your muscles time and time again. its best to just warm up your muscles once and get in all done, then your body can rest and recover properly.
if you only rest for an hour or two your body wont recover enough and you will just be stressin your self out and possibly damage yourself.
