Joshua offers to spar Fury as preparation for beating Wilder
Joshua has now reached out to his British rival with an offer to help Fury defeat Deontay Wilder on February 22nd. Fury previously drew with Wilder in December 2018. Joshua told Sky Sports News: “I think honestly he might beat Wilder next time. “I think Fury would fight me quicker than Wilder would, so, if that’s the case, I want him to win. Imagine that fight on British soil. “If Tyson needs me, I’ll go out and spar with him (in Las Vegas) to get him ready for Wilder.” On why a fight with Wilder hasn’t happened yet, Joshua added: “It still puzzles me as to why it’s so difficult to pin this man down. “This is the man I need to pin down to get the last ring and conquer this division. “When he’s ready, as I am, I would love to be here talking about Deontay Wilder and the keys to victory. “It’s not about me, it’s about the sport and the legacy. If he wants to create his legacy and he wants to be a future hall of famer, he needs to come and see us. “You’ve got the two lords of the rings here. The last one to unify, undisputed, the division. I’ve got four, he’s got one. I just need one more.”

This is a trick and Tyson fury should not go along with it. This will give Joshua vital information about the way fury fights first hand which will come in handy when he does fight fury in the future if and when he does. I don't think Tyson fury will go along with this

Makes sense, if you’re clearly terrified it’s definitely a good idea to help someone else deal with the problem.

Fury has accepted the offer of the help but doubt AJ will really do it.

Has Joshua fought Wilder that we know of? No.
Does Joshua have the same style as Wilder? No.
Is Joshua some master boxer who can dissect Wilder's style for the benefit of Fury? No.
So to that effect, WTF's the difference between Joshua and just any other sparring partner? :tumbleweed: Exactly.

Doesn't make much sense. AJ going for the participation trophy or what???. Fury would do better to hand two bricks to a random drunk on roller skates and offer him a 20 to swing freely at him for an accurate Wilder simulation.

Fury hàs accepted the offer and I think AJ would be perfect sparring, virtually the same size and height as Wilder too.

I would think bringing in a potential marquee opponent for sparring would always create more trouble than it's worth with the conflict of interest. Plenty of top fighters will have sparred with each other if they happen to be in the same gym, but I've never heard of of this scenario happening.

Amazed at this. Is it just to get a rise out of Wilder? Seems really strange. What similarity does Joshua have to help fury prepare for Wilder? Height is all.
