"Report: Nicaragua allowing boxing card with spectators"
Amazingly, boxing cards with fans in attendance are still going on in some countries, Nicaragua being one of them. On the one hand, the boxing fan in me welcomes any type of boxing going on right now. On the other hand, I can't help but think that they're taking a huge chance and risking a surge in COVID-19 cases by doing so.
As a side note, after I put the link on my post, I discovered the crass error made by the writer with the promoter's name, calling him Ricardo Alvarez.....
They should pull this guy's reporter card.
The promoter of this card is actually former Nicaraguan champion Rosendo Alvarez.
I'll put a more accurate link below.

Apparently those with ESPN+ should be able to access the boxing card.
Re: Boxing cards with fans happening in other countries
I'm surprised locations up North haven't received much play or attention by promoters. Read that Japan has now cancelled it's schedule for June. For better or worse it's just a matter of time before we have a live card pop up as this has basically devolved into you either believe the risk or you do not. The few weeks we were as one..there were a few.. was refreshing albeit under these circumstances. Until live action it's into the archives. I've been re watching fav fights but from other international broadcasts. Amazing how differently the blow by blows can be ;D
