I became a fan of his after his tragic fight with Patrick Day almost a year ago, he has handled that terrible situation well and it doesn't seem to have affected his performances thus far since. If anything it seems more as a motivator to highlight Day's memory with his own successes.

He has a decent amateur pedigree.

He just recorded another victory only a few day ago over another prospect I had my eye on Wendy Toussaint who was 12-0 (5 KOs) going in.

Currently sitting at 13-0 (10 KOs) Conwell is boarding on contender status and fighting at 154 where the competition is full of fighters who can defeat each other on their day, Conwell can potentially establish himself as one of the top fighters in the division.
