Great to see Charlo intending to stay put and handle a full house. But 4 belts with 4 different mandatories sitting for a 6 month wait ? I just dunno. Like to see who Fundora winds up with, Harrison maybe?

i think this was signed so far out because they wanted the same date that kostya won his first ibf title on, the twenty eighth of january in ninety five

Well let's just hope it's not an indicator of what 2023 has in store...fight postponed due to Charlo breaking his hand. Hey, still have Beterbiev v Yarde that day at least :peeker:

Jermell Charlo's bout with Tim Tszyu has been postponed after the undisputed super-welterweight world champion broke his hand in training.
American Charlo, who holds the WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA belts, became the undisputed champion when he knocked out Brian Castano in May.
After his win over Castano, the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) ordered Charlo to defend his title against undefeated Australian Tszyu.
No new date has been set for the rescheduled bout.

timmy needs to fight anyway, the extra experience should benefit him. jermell losing all the momentum he had gained in becoming undisputed

talk is that timmy is trying to get the wbo to sign off on an interim fight for march against either bakhram murtazaliev or tony harrison

It's postponed not cancelled right? No way he takes Harrison or bigger risk. They're just going to let the time steam off until Charlo says go.

i heard it was postponed, timmy needs to fight, march will be a year out of the ring. i agree that a keep busy is probably the way it'll go but does having an interim title change purse splits? timmy could definitely do with more seasoning
