Does this win put Garcia in line for Crawford?

I would not mind seeing Danny Garcia vs Bud Crawford, just to see how Garcia would do against him considering how he also fought Spence Jr. I think it would be a good measuring stick for all involved.

I have always been a fan of Garcia and was pulling for him to beat Thurman. But, thems the brakes!

If Bud doesn’t fight Spence I will turn on him exactly as I turned on GGG in 2013 when it became clear he wasn’t looking at the meaningful fights.(still hoped to be wrong there but he made every bad decision imaginable when Ward called him out it really hammered it home with all the double talk from camp GGG)

Bud can fight anyone he wants after that, I will have no interest. He had excuses when he was with Duck Rank, they are known for standing in the way of fights. But he is free, the biggest fight he will ever be offered is in front of him. If he doesn’t take it, just like with GGG, everything he’s done comes under scrutiny

No. That win pushed Garcia further down/back because he struggled and didn’t look good against a plodder who was walking at him with his hands down while breathing through an open mouth. I like Danny and think he has good boxing fundamentals/technique, but the lack of size and athleticism is too much to overcome.

I agree: Bud and Spence need to fight each other or I’m done with both. Boxing needs that fight and there is no excuse to not make it at this point- especially after both have openly called each other out for next. This has to happen this year, period.

For a potential Bud vs Garcia fight, it goes like most of Danny’s fights vs elite 147 pounders: h comes up short. He’s got a good chin and solid defense so I think he will last the distance, but Bud is just too good and would dominate like Spence did. The only excitement or intrigue would be seeing if Bud could stop him.

I just want to see them all fight each other. Funny how we can have these discussions without mention of Keith Thurman at all. lolol...
