Not looking for sympathy…
Not looking for sympathy…
Most of you won't know this but for my wife and I, the past few months have been some of the hardest months of our lives, and the most difficult of our relationship.
Some days have been harder than others. Many tears have flowed and many nights have been spent just trying to survive.
We've had to make some incredibly hard decisions just to make it through.
Sadly now, after a long period of soul searching we have decided with great pain that the end has come. We can't continue any longer as things are.
It's not a decision we have taken lightly but it's been born out of necessity.
Something had to change.
So it's with great sadness that I announce this morning that after so many months of struggling and fighting the inevitable, we have decided to finally put the heating on...

Thought you were surely seeing a lawyer in the morning or resigning ;D. Yeh we have the occasional thermostat war. Ever since I put all wood floors and ceiling fans in its managed at 76 range and no heat in winters. Save for bonfires out back :flamed:

You sneaky dog, you. ;D ;D
Don't normally see this type of joshing out of you... so yes... I was increasingly horrified until the punchline at the end. ;D ;D
Re: Not looking for sympathy…
Everyone is acting like this is a funny joke but with energy prices in Britain Master won't be able to afford fury v chisora 3 electric boogaloo PPV... THIS is serious stuff.
Re: Not looking for sympathy…
At least I get 1 person who does see the seriousness of my thread. My annual gas and electric bill is just under £4,000.
I have had to let the butler and maid go.
Times are hard.

Reminds me of the part in Cinderella man where Braddocks wife goes to the house of his trainer and manager to accuse him of making money off of exploiting her husband to make money and put his health at risk and finds the manager and his wife sitting in an empty apt with card table because they sold some of their things to fund braddock's training.
I can't provide any comfort except to say there's a reason for everything and the content man takes what hes given and accepts it as gospel and the discontent man eventually gets uncomfortable till he looks for/ demands answers. In that he finds the truth. We're (every country)not being told the truth.

Yes there is, it is the man who tells lies.
