Good fight with a really nice supporting card.
Heard rumoured today that it was really struggling to sell though, which is both surprising and disappointing.

Mexican featherweight Luis Alberto Lopez makes the journey across the Atlantic Ocean to take on Josh Warrington at Leeds' First Direct Arena live on DAZN (excluding Australia and New Zealand).
For Warrington, this is a chance to gain momentum as he aims to secured a world title unification fight or to secure a high-profile fight in the United States next year.
For Lopez, it's a chance for him to spring a surprise as compatriot Mauricio Lara did previously.
This might not be Warrington's toughest challenge on paper but he must avoid an upset to make the most of his remaining years in the ring.
Luis Alberto Lopez boasts a 26-2 professional record with 15 of those wins coming by way of knockout.
Lopez won the Mexican Pacific Coast super featherweight championship in 2017, and in 2019 beat Ray Ximenez for the vacant WBO International featherweight belt.
Lopez defeated Isaac Lowe with an impressive knockout victory this time last year, when he ended things with a seventh round body shot at York Hall, Bethnal Green.
The fight takes place at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, England.

Re: Josh Warrington vs Luis Alberto Lopez 10/12/22
Was reading a piece about Warrington today and it got me thinking, do fighters have any sort of clue when they are protected? He was talking about how he wanted to fight Gary Russell Jr and “why can’t I get a fight like that”. I was sort of surprised, because I thought everyone knew Gary Russell Jr is a fight nobody takes. Too much hassle for the money. Just thinking “you can have that fight in a heartbeat if you can convince your management to make it”.
Let me clarify, I don’t mean protected as an insult on this occasion, I mean it more like wisely managed. I would have thought he would know how this works. Fascinated me. Now I want to see the video to see if it was just something he was saying or if he meant it. I will say the pro fighters I know are largely oblivious to the workings of the sport so again, I mean no insult to Josh. Just was a very interesting thought to me, does he know, doesn’t he know, are they words, is it genuine. So many questions
Re: Josh Warrington vs Luis Alberto Lopez 10/12/22
I think Josh was probably genuine when he said it because he felt invincible and had beaten Frampton and Selby.
Since then Lara beat him and he has been busy trying to get back the glory he originally had before he lost.
Re: Josh Warrington vs Luis Alberto Lopez 10/12/22
Had no idea this fight was happening....and I live in errr.....Leeds
Know nothing about his opponent but I've thought Warrington past his best.
They are now showing the England France game in the Leeds Arena beforehand so that atmosphere will be brilliant - expect a lot to buy tickets on that basis if reasonably priced.
Then again it takes a good half hour to queue and get a drink in the arena and the prices are bordering extortion so maybe not.
The queue to have a piss takes even longer so if you've had a few pints you'll miss the second half..........
Re: Josh Warrington vs Luis Alberto Lopez 10/12/22
i think the ticket sales are being more exaggerated because josh warrington usually sells out there, last i saw it was over eight thousand sold out of thirteen thousand available but the shine has worn off josh, after headbutting his way out of what looked to be sure defeat against in the rematch with mauricio lara, & dropping his belt & then fighting for it again. i think luis is all wrong for josh in this one but i worry about the judges
