It seems like it has not been mentioned again. Wilder seems to be waiting until December for the Saudi tournament and Ruiz was mentioned as a possible summer opponent for Fury.

I have little faith in the older 'guard' of heavyweights right now. Fury AJ and Wilder to be specific. Wilder has won arguably no more than 3 rounds over the last 3.5 years. Not fights...rounds. And AJ says he's out until December after laying an egg last time out. Wilder v Ruiz is a perfect fight and seemingly easy to make but I think they're going to try to shortcut to Usyk. Dubois may injure a hand in training :-X and step aside. Boxing shenanigans are in high gear with Wilder being propelled into mandatory. For doing not so much at all. It feels like we have a number of under the radar willing and active hungrier fighters, some younger and some older, bubbling up now and the trio in particular are just timing out their careers.
