Why Floyd Won - No Excuses
People are talking about Floyd's gloves, and Zab not continuing to do as well as he did in rounds 1-4... that this is why Floyd won. I think this is nonsense...
Fact is, it couldn't have possibly continued as it did in rounds 1-4 for various reasons. For one, Judah can't stick to his game plan once he starts to get hit. He is psychologically screwed from his Kostya and Baldomir experiences. He doesn't want to do that dance again. Another thing, Floyd is a masterful boxer and so if something is not working, or he is puzzled about the fighter infront of him... he will adjust, lay back even if he has to, figure his opponent out, and then execute an effective plan.
That is the difference between Zab and Floyd. Zab had his game plan and he was successful while it worked. When Floyd countered Zab's temporarily effective plan, Zab was clueless as to what to do next. They are on similar levels physically, Floyd is on his own level mentally. It is impossible to realistically think that the fight could have continued in the same fashion... Floyd, or any good champion would not allow that to happen.
Simply put, it isn't just a matter of Zab stopping what he was doing, or not making a few changes. It is the fact that those changes and adjustments are beyond him, and Floyd is ahead of Zab in boxing IQ.
As for the gloves... give me a break. The gloves are larger in surface area, but not a massive amount to change the result of a decisive victory to a loss. It is also more surface area for Zab to block (yet he managed to take absorb 100 more punches than Floyd). Perhaps the poofyness saved Zab from dancing once again. Floyd isn't a massive puncher... but neither is Baldomir.
All of the excuses are useless. Zab wanted this win more than any of you fans even. He could not do it. He did everything that he possibly could to pull out this win. Go ahead and bless him with the heart of Gatti, or the boxing brain of Ali... he doesn't have it. Judah did what he could with who he is.
The better man won... even Judah said so.
Stop discrediting a pretty good showing on Judah's part by saying that these small discrepencies kept him from victory.

The fighter's records MAY (which I doubt) be altered. What happened is crystal clear and recorded for all to see over and over again through the years.

With Zab's back against the wall, he still couldn't beat Floyd. Regardless of the decision, Zab is not half the fighter Floyd is.

Floyd beat Judah's ass, and they had the same damn gloves (weight not brand), same situation in the Morales Pacquiao II, PBF's gloves were padded with foam, that's why they looked so big, same weight as Judah's no advantage minus the fact that Floyd's hands were protected more. Judah is a punk and with his little skit in the 10th he's lucky his ass didn't get DQ'd, Floyd dominated him and made him look like the bitch and joke that he is, now hopefully he can crawl back into the dark little ghetto hole he came from and never be heard of again

;) yea, the world will allways hate judah, even when he becomes the first to legitimatley beat PBF, and the only way i see mayweather EVER fighting him again is if he is given a DQ...

Zab is agood fighter, but he got beat. Whenever there is a great team, it shows that they are great because every team is gunning for them, and all the other teams bring their A-game. The great team still beats them, and gets credit. Why can't Floyd? Zab brought his A-game, and then was dominated for seven straight rounds. I'd say Floyd showed he's the better man, love him or hate him, give credit where credit is due.
I like Zab, I just get tired of hearing how good some of Floyd's opponents are, and after he beats them, he still gets no credit.

well the roger inccident really fucked up his chance to have the glory this time
i think people are criticizing him cuz he talked alot, about how he was gonna KO zab, and zab was nothing, and they started to believe it,
and then they saw him have ALOT of trouble with somoen they thought was nothing

I agree with the top part. ALOT of trouble? 3 rounds is not alot of trouble, and don't even bring up the 12th, because Floyd knew Zab needed a KO, and gave him a chance by giving the round away. If you honestly think 3 rounds is alot of trouble for Floyd, then you obviously think Floyd is a great fighter. ;D

Why is everyone saying that Floyd dominated Zab?
Basically this
Zab dominated Floyd early, Floyd adapted and was breaking Judah down, the incident happened, Zab won the last 2 rounds because Mayweather fought defensive.
Floyd didn't OWN Zab, he OWN's Gatti. But he didn't OWN Castillo or Zab ;) Zab didn't get his ass kicked.
