There is no reason why Andy Ruiz Jr...
....should not be lined up to fight Usyk or Fury. Ruiz was the former unified HW Champ. Took AJ to the cleaners on the first go round, and caused AJ to run around he ring the second time to steal a bullshit decision.
I hate what they do to Andy Ruiz, particularly since he was robbed in his first title fight against Parker.
Sure, he is chubby and not aesthetically pleasing. But that is no reason to dismiss his ability...
Re: There is no reason why Andy Ruiz Jr...
Ruiz poor effort against AJ where he did not bother to train hard enough to try and defend his title should mean he has to work his way up to ever earn another title shot.
If Ruiz beats Wilder then he is worthy.
Re: There is no reason why Andy Ruiz Jr...
Both are over inflating themselves based on their “old days” which are not old at all. It’s a sad statement in the division and failure of wbc to not enforce ordered fight. Ruiz to me gets absurdly dismissed as a runner up when in fact he has more claim to winning the ‘big one’ much than Wilder who is literally just waiting for a lotto ticket to fall in his lap. Ruiz and Wilder need each other and both have vastly overrated their marketability. I don’t care how fat or rail thin a heavyweight is I just want them to want to fight at some point ;D. The division is there for the cracking open.
Re: There is no reason why Andy Ruiz Jr...
A third match with AJ would sell and should happen. It's one all but he has registered the more conclusive win.
I have no idea what he is up to now or when he last fought. Then again does any heavy fight these days....
Re: There is no reason why Andy Ruiz Jr...
a lot of heavyweights are more business men than boxers these days. andy says he want ten million to fight deontay. the wbc should drop them both from their top fifteen, instead they cancelled the purse bid
Re: There is no reason why Andy Ruiz Jr...
Yeah the 'stay busy' days are over
Re: There is no reason why Andy Ruiz Jr...
What 'They' do to Andy?
He outboxed Parker with ease when he chose to. He also chose to hand half the fight over to Parker on a silver platter. He took his shot against AJ and got his reward. All power to him for that. But he chose to hand the belts back without a fight.
Andy is the architect of his own downfall. He needs zero assistance from 'they'.
