Wow! He really wasn't that old (76). Didn't see the cause of death in the article I saw.

I was surprised to find out he had played one season in the NFL (1970) as a linebacker for the Oakland Raiders. So he was quite the athlete.
Damn... so sad. Not only did he achieve fame as Apollo Creed... but he also went on to star along Arnold in that wonderful Predator movie.
