Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Right then ;D
Got the green light from the Guvnor to interview the Hitman next week (19/4/06).
Wanna get everyone on board for this and get some great questions together and the way i see it,The more brains we can get together (question wise) the better it'll be 8)...
Don't want it to be the same boring old sh*t he always gets asked hense the Joint venture.
Obviously i'll be pressing him on boxing matters but a little variation always relaxes the person you interview and you get a better result in my experience.
All serious questions will be considered and im guessing Saddo himself and the mods will probably read through and help select the best ones to use.
Don't miss this exclusive chance to ask the Hitman the questions that you want answered.
Fire away and good luck ;)
And yes....i am a lucky B*stard ;D
Let's go... 8)
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Please please ask him if he would ever fight Margarito?! No-one ever asks him that,it's always pbf etc. I just want to see his reaction!!!
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview

Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Ask if its true that he will be facing Collazo, Gatti then PBF. I'm kinda curious.
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
What's the story behind "Blue Moon"?
Or if someone here already knows the answer to that, I'd love to hear it.
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Hatton is a mad for it Manchester City FC supporter and it's the team song/anthem ;)
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview

say to him this,
PBF is afraid of you, and he is easy to hit when scared, if you get his ass in the ring, will you capitalize on his fear and try to stop him early while he is still uncomfortable and scared?
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
I think to warm up,get him relaxed, you should ask some quick fire questions ie fave boxer of all time, fave footy player, fave part of women's anatomy, worst performance, best fight he 's seen, etc etc just lots of random questions, add some funny ones in too. Then after that, lay into him with the hardcore stuff.
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Yes, I agree with the warm up session.
I would ask about his weight. Maybe, how much does he walk around at, when not in training. Then maybe tie that in with his future. Something about, how high{weight division} could he go, or see himself going. In case the Mayweather fight never happened, or Mayweather lost, or etc. If he could go to 154 or 160 to challenge some of those guys.
Also, I know it would only be speculation, and hopefully wouldn't come off rude, but if he was to suffer a setback against Collazo, would he stay at 147, drop back to 140. Maybe just get an idea of where his dedication is going, because it only seems to lead to one place=Mayweather.
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Could you ask him why smashup is taking so much time putting the Calzaghe interview up ;).
Also, whats his favourite food after the weigh in.

No shat...where is that...I'll bet Hatton knows. ;)
Seriously though...ask him this: Seeing as how your life long goal seems to be the conquest of Floyd Mayweather Jr., what did you see that was worth capitalizing on as far as a weakness goes?
Do you know feel that Mayweather opened himself up for defeat with a certain game plan?
Then ask him if he's eaten any Yank food that's given him the shats yet? ;D
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Ok i confess ;D
CALZAGHE INTERVIEW HAS BEEN DONE AND IS ON IT'S WAY AND IT'S NEARLY 30 MINUTES LONG 8)
Oh and it's on an Audio file too ;)
Cheers for sticky Wacko mate.
A few of your Questions might acidentally find themselves rather high on the list ;)
Keep em coming people.
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
ask him weither staying at welter will b a long thing or will he move up to light middle.
Re: Saddoboxing World exclusive...... Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton interview
Ask Ricky if he has any recollections about fighting Jurgen Brahmer in the amateurs. Did Brahmer knock him out, knock him down, or stop him on his feet? Could he tell us about those fights with Brahmer and why he moved up in weight to fight him. Cheers ;)
(Ricky lost in the opening round against Brahmer, 10 years ago, but Brahmer was a 6ft light-middleweight)
