Prime RJJ Vs Bivol/Beterbiev
Re: Prime RJJ Vs Bivol/Beterbiev
Lets wait until who wins Bivol v Beterbiev. Roy Jones was speed and skills but not the greatest light heavyweight.
I would say Spinks, Foster, Archie Moore and Ezzard Charles were greater.

Tough stuff. I was never big on Jones at 175 honestly. Stylistically I think Bivol "could" give him absolute hell pre or post Roy moving to heavy and take a W. Who knows. And can also see crazy scenario where he catches Beterbiev early...the slow starting Beterbiev...for objectional ref waved tko.

I tend to give him a better chance against Beterbiev also. Styles. IMO, Bivol might outbox him, strange as that may seem.

Agree Bivol is just understated cagey and mobile. Roy was supreme reflex and natural athleticism but wasn't some willow o' wisp on defense.
