Claressa Shields met Caroline Dubois...
This video is some two years old, but look closely at this. Look at how Claressa sized up Caroline and put her arms around Caroline's shoulder as to feel her strength and sturdiness. Claressa was testing her strength in the event they may meet in the ring one day. Class A move by Claressa. Caroline probably didn't even know Claressa sized her up and was testing her strength here. Caroline is so sweet and a very humble young lady.

Claressa should be long retired by the time Caroline gets near to challenging her.

Not by the looks of it. Caroline is way ahead of her peers... I'm shocked at how good she is.
Re: Claressa Shields met Caroline Dubois...
Shields seems like she's getting more and more frustrated that she's not getting the recognition she feels she deserves. She really opted for the trinket counting route moving to 174 and now sits 40 lbs north of Dubois isolating herself. Her weight division has like a mere 25 fighters there, over the entire world! Meanwhile you have Mikaela Mayer-Sandy Ryan putting on an entertaining war and the most watched women's main event fight in 19 years. Shields had it much better with Showtime early on at least she had consistent exposure. The Marshall fight was big but don't think a higher division helps her. But hey, it's all about counting empty belts I guess.

To be fair to her though they were pushing Katie Taylor over her when she was getting gift decisions. Different rules for different complexions. Like, is Loma being trashed for turning down Tank? I remember Tank catching hell for that fight not happening but you could hear a mouse fart when Loma turns down his biggest payday. I don’t remember a big hubbub when he turned down Mikey either, or when he turned down Berchelt. While we’re at it should we mention the top women that declined fighting Shields? Some were smaller, fair, but if the smaller won’t fight her is it wrong for her going after the bigger girls? Seems like a damned both ways situation
