Okolie came in 18 Stones 8 pounds last Saturday knocking out his opponent in 1 round. He looked fat at the weight but his legs were like sticks.
Is he capable of beating Adeleye, Wardley, Whyte, and Joyce? What is his level?
Fat shaming the bridgerweights now, @Master? lol... for shame!
Re: Is Lawrence Okolie fat?
Mentally I don't think he is fat. But physically he's definitely spongy and pushing it at 260. Guy is built like an elevated beach house sitting in the surf. Be interesting to see how he advances and where weight settles. History is littered with solid cruiserweights jumping at the heavyweight temptation$ but can't think of too many having 6'5 to work with. Don't know about the thin legs but he may just be skipping leg-day.
Re: Is Lawrence Okolie fat?
I'm not even a fighter but I have better muscle tone than Okolie.
He looked like he was induced by KFC, pizza and BigMac's to get that 260. From around 190 at cruiser to 260 at heavy ? That's serious weight gain. He needs to hire a strength and conditioning coach to peel off some of that flab when he steps up to any live opponent. Okolie should of only been maybe 10 to 15 pounds heavier than his fight night weight as a Cruiserweight fighter'. Usyk weighs just slightly over the 200 pound mark at heavy.
There's no way he will be able to compete looking like an uncle with a beer belly. Sort yourself out Lawrence, or your career will be short.
