Do you guys know how to use Wordpress?

I need to turn a website of mine into a mobile friendly website. Essentially, I have a front page photo that shows cut-off when people see it from their mobile phones...

Any tips or strategies? I have downloaded WPtouch and have it activated, but the mobile version still shows up shitty.

Help!
