To me, Haney was always the weaker of the new batch of guys...
When we talk about the batch of these new guys and when we put Haney up against them, to me, he was always the weaker of the bunch. No way would I have bet he would beat Tank, Shakur or even now Garcia. lolol... His father just keeps on talking as if Devin is on the level of those guys. I saw the sparring footage of Shakur and Devin prior to Shakur heading to the Olympics and Shakur was clearly on cruise control.

You might get some flak for that if you walk into a room full of Haney fans, but I myself have always had some reservations regarding Haney.
I noticed right now he's ranked #2 at welter by BoxRec. WTF. The guy has had exactly what, one fight above super lightweight? Two, if you count his embarrassing loss to PrincessRy.
Some guys are pushed hard by the media, and Haney to me is one of those.
Hey... props to Haney for a couple of quality wins (Prograis and Loma).
I purposely left out Kambosos because hey... he's a scrapper and tough dude who managed an upset win over ill-prepared Teo Lopez. TBH, I don't think Kambosos repeats that win in a million years.
Other than that, Kambosos was tailor-made for Haney.
So Haney has a good enough resume, I guess. But having him #2 at welter??
I see Brian Norman sitting at #3, and Brian would have Haney for lunch.

Give Haney some credit after being assaulted and cheated by Garcia who was dirty and overweight.
Hope Haney wins his case and gets compensation for it. He does not seem the same fighter after that loss.

Yeah, PrincessRy is a cheating basket case. Glad he lost to Romero. He needs to forget boxing and concentrate on his Instagram career.
Haney is damaged goods. Winning his case isn't going to make him any more attractive in the ring. But yeah, I also hope he wins it. He was cheated.

Yea.. Brian Norman is the dark horse in this crop of guys. He has a workman like attitude and tough as nails.
