The Dillian Whyte I'm seeing in training...
... will stop Moses Itauma late. I'm certain of it. This new Dillian Whyte looks refreshed and energized. Itauma will make it a fight up to 5 rounds, but experience will pull Dillian through to a stoppage by round 8 or 9.
Either Itauma will get off a lucky punch by round 3, or it is simply going to be a long night for him up to a Dillian Whyte stoppage by 8 or 9.
This is just too much of a step up for Itauma at this stage. Unless the fight is fixed, I don't see Whyte losing to Itauma.
What do you lot reckon?
Re: The Dillian Whyte I'm seeing in training...
Can't get away from thinking they are trucking in the perfect warm scalp for young yet to do anything but massively hyped on promise Itauma. That's a lot of words. As a fan I want Itauma to be everything they speak off. But also sick of seeing a Turki ram him in the same sentence as Usyk as if natural development and having a long game means nothing. We've seen that movie in the heavyweight division 101 times. Whyte looks good right now, but you cannot erase years and inactivity. For sake of the division I hope Whyte clumps Itauma early at least to answer the chin questions. But he's here for a reason at 38 and Itauma has all advantages.

This is a classic acid test for the next new prospect. Moses is proclaimed to be the next best thing in boxing. This will be his biggest challenge so far but it also gives Whyte a real opportunity back to world titles. I think Moses wins after some scary moments.

Where are you seeing this? Do you have any links? Because I’ve heard similar but haven’t found anything to back it up.
I really hope he is in shape, and I would really look forward to it, because that will make for a barn burner. And it will also tell us a lot about both men. Itauma’s quality and Whyte’s character.

His legs here indicate to me he has been running, uphill running at that.

i think moses goes through dillian like a laxative
Re: The Dillian Whyte I'm seeing in training...
is there testing for this fight? hope dillian doesn't pop dirty
Re: The Dillian Whyte I'm seeing in training...
I’ve seen some clips of Whyte and he does appear to be in good shape, which is a credit to him.
But I also reckon it’s hard to turn the clock back and whatever version of Dillian comes into the ring Saturday night, will get beat.
But it should be a much more watchable fight if he’s in shape, and we will learn a lot more about Itauma.

Whyte is only 37. Not exactly geriatric. And he was able to get himself in good shape, so apparently his body is responding to the training. This is a good sign.

Hope Whyte puts up a good challenge and takes Moses to the mid/late rounds. Dillian is always open to the uppercut which could be his downfall.
